At Avian and Exotic Veterinary Care, we are committed to providing advanced veterinary care that is personalized to meet the unique needs of each of our exotic patients. Through the use of modern technology and methods, and the expertise of Drs. Harrenstien, Gibbons and Rose, we are able to offer quality and reputable treatment to pets that would otherwise face limited care options.
Our hospital is designed to offer our clients and their pets space and privacy. Upon entering into our facility, you will immediately be escorted by our friendly staff to an exam room where your pet can freely and comfortably roam, and you can discuss the care of your pet in privacy.
Our Partnerships
We partner with other veterinary specialists and businesses in order to provide our clients with the best plan of care and the highest quality services and products. In cases where additional or advanced care is needed beyond what we can provide, we will collaborate with mobile specialists to provide care at our clinic or meet clients at other referral hospitals to facilitate care there. We also offer offsite consultations for exotic facilities and pet stores. Each of these partnerships allows us to be with you every step of the way and through every stage of your pet’s life.
Our Pharmacy and Retail Area
For the convenience and comfort of our clients and patients, we offer an in-house pharmacy stocked with the medications and supplements your exotic pet needs. Our pharmacy is open during normal business hours, and prescriptions may be picked up during these times. We request that you call in refills at least 24 hours in advance to allow time for processing. Please remember to follow the instructions by our doctors, staff and the manufacturer when dispensing medications to your pet.
Our retail area carries food and toys that are handpicked by our staff and consultants, and specially formulated and designed with your pet’s health and wellness in mind.
